Club is the bestest floor ever.
Valentine's Day is one of those holidays I both love and hate. I love the little Valentine's cards you buy in like second grade to give out to your classmates. I love the chocolate. I love the red and pink. I hate being alone every year. I hate buying the chocolate for myself. I hate feeling like I'm being left out of the fun.
This year, however, was by far the best Valentine's Day of my entire life. The boys from Club got together and bought me a bouquet of yellow roses, along with some Ghirardelli chocolate. About fifteen or twenty of the boys came over to the courtyard outside my building to deliver my presents, and it was pretty much the most adorable thing ever. I was completely blown away by their thoughtfulness to the point that I almost cried.

Sometimes, it's okay to take a break from pushing people off of planks in order to appreciate the fun things like flowers and candy. I love my boys. Apparently, they love me, too.
Test Entry #1
For the past two weeks, I have gone to bed shortly after hearing my mother's alarm clock going off at 6am. I wake up somewhere between 2:30pm and 4pm, just in time for her to return home from work. Oh, and I should be getting paid shortly for some web design work that I get to do at four o'clock in the morning.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is too good to be true.
That's why LeTourneau decided to send me a cute little letter telling me that if I don't pull up my GPA by the end of this semester, bad things will happen. Namely, I will be suspended. Tada!
On the bright side, I finally figured out what I want to do with my life, which will hopefully give me the motivation I need to get those straight A's again. The plan goes as follows:
Phase 1: Graduate as soon as possible from LeTourneau with a degree in something computery with maybe a smidge of business. Do enough web design to pay the bills and to put food on the table.
Phase 2a: Travel around whilst doing web design. (Yay for a portable career!)
Phase 2b: Switch over to interior design, making web design more of a side job. Possibly "flip" houses for a living, since that seems to pull in some big money and also looks like a ton of fun.
Phase 3: Become awesome like Heather B. Armstrong of Dooce.com and support myself and whatever family I may have then with my insanely popular (non-Xanga) blog! Woohoo!!
For now, I'm going to eat some cereal, read some Dilbert, play some Mario, and head off to bed. Happy almost-the-last-day-of-2006!
Warning: Revamp in Progress
This site is going to look a little wonky for a while until I get my design fully integrated with Movable Type. I've been working on this for a few hours now, and I expect to have everything fully functional in a day or two. Until then, please forgive the awfulness.
Meanwhile, entertain yourself with comics from Explosm.net or read some of the awesomeness that resides at Dooce.com.
